It was really hot at the beginning of the week, but for the past couple days it's just been raining and raining and raining with a random hot sunny day in the middle there. I'm never sure what to wear, haha.
We did some service this week for our friend, and helped her in her garden for a while on Tuesday. We both got some great blisters on our hands as a token of our efforts :) But it was fun to do service, and she really needed it. Her daughter is young and her husband is working a lot so she almost never gets a chance to do housework. She's great and we're extremely excited about her.
Back at the beginning of this transfer, we were doing doors and we found this guy, who accepted a Book of Mormon, but said to come back in about a month because he was busy with housework (he'd just moved). So we went back by this week and he was really excited to see us, but not quite finished with his work. We'll go by in a week and a half. It's a bit of a delayed miracle, but it's coming and we're really excited to teach him!
Another miracle this week was a member present lesson with our investigator. We talked about the temple, and the member, a convert, was able to bear a powerful testimony about their experiences in the temple. He really wants to be sealed to his wife, who passed away about 3 years ago, but he knows baptism comes first, so he's preparing himself for that step.
We got an almost-baptismal date this week. We met with another investigator this week and talked about the Sacrament and how baptism connects with that, as well as the blessings promised with baptism and taking the sacrament, he was really excited about those ideas and knows that he needs that extra strength in his life. He has a baptismal calendar and wants to be baptized, but he wanted a little bit of time to pray and this week we are going to pick a baptismal date with him.
Reading the scriptures is like reading a novel, but even better because the scriptures are doctrinally sound. :D
I'm a nerd it's fine.
Love you all and hope you're doing well :)

As we were walking along one day this week, we passed by some frogs in a tunnel by our house, and they were sooo cute and little!
Also, in a candy store last Monday, they had an American candy section so I totally bought some sour patch kids... no shame. They were overpriced but at the same time they tasted so good :)
